Extracurricular Programs
Support our swim, soccer, arts, chorus, orchestra, and cultural enrichment programs. These initiatives complement our educational efforts, offering Latino children opportunities to thrive beyond the classroom.
Educational Programs
Our Saturday School and Summer Educational Program inspire Latino children to be lifelong learners. By addressing early learning and preventing learning loss, we prepare children for future academic success with the support of Georgia-certified teachers and engaged parents.
Youth Service and Leadership Program
Our leadership and volunteer programs empower Latino youth and metro Atlanta youth to succeed in higher education. By involving them as partners in our mission, we help them gain leadership skills and confidence while supporting our programs with their energy and ideas.
Family Leadership and Educational Program
Parents are key to our mission’s success. Our programs help Latino parents develop professional and emotional skills, enabling them to actively support their child’s development and ensure success for the entire family.
Martha Barrios Mead Scholarship
The Martha Barrios Mead Scholarship supports Los Niños Primero alumni and youth volunteers pursuing higher education. Martha, a bilingual speech therapist, helped create the program in 1999 and dedicated 17 years as a volunteer and board member. Her legacy continues through the students and families we serve.
