Youth Service Program
The Children First Youth Volunteer Program engages and connects middle, high, and college students in the Atlanta area with meaningful and practical service opportunities that support Latino children and families, creating experiences filled with learning, inspiration, and purpose.
All young volunteers receive training to confidently and safely perform their roles within each activity and educational setting. Through educational, recreational, and community activities, volunteers positively impact the future of many children.
Growing Together: Big Sister, Little Sister
Mentoring, Guidance, and Connection
Growing Together is a unique mentoring initiative for older sisters (“Bigs”) and younger sisters (“Littles”) that connects young female volunteers with schoolgirls through creative, educational, and emotional well-being workshops. Through art activities and project-based learning, participants strengthen their leadership, confidence, and personal growth while learning and growing together.
Funding: All Girls Forward: Girls Empowerment Program grant from the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, which provides free access to education, arts, and mental wellness resources.

Youth Ambassador Program
We empower young people with leadership, purpose, and a desire to transform the world around them.
The Ambassador Program is an invitation-only opportunity that recognizes juniors and seniors who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership as youth volunteers in the Summer Educational Program. This selective, year-long program is designed to inspire, empower, and support young people to reach their full leadership potential.
Ambassadors take on important roles within the organization, such as program leaders, outreach coordinators, and fundraising coordinators, and gain hands-on experience in areas that prepare them for future careers.
Participants develop confidence, build connections with leaders, and acquire tools that prepare them for their academic, professional, and personal futures.

Investing in Latino Futures
We believe in the talent, potential, and dreams of the next generation.
This is a new internship program designed to provide high school seniors and college students with real-world work experience. Through partnerships with companies across various industries, the goal is to connect interns with companies offering paid internships of 6 to 8 weeks. By surveying and registering students, we gather information about their career interests and match them with potential internship opportunities.
We partner with organizations such as Image Works and Los Niños Primero, as well as Creciendo Juntas, to offer these internships.
This initiative gives participants the opportunity to strengthen their professionalism, develop leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience while supporting teachers and staff in a nonprofit setting, making a positive and meaningful impact on their community.
