Every child deserves a strong start

Each year, our Early Childhood Education Program serves more than 700 Latino children through bilingual education that builds confidence, curiosity, and a lasting love of learning

Through an innovative approach based on the Finnish educational model, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics), and learning through play, we help children develop the skills necessary to succeed in school and in life. Our programs, aligned with the Georgia Early Childhood Education Standards (GELDS), the Georgia Elementary School Standards (GSE), and Emory University’s SEE curriculum, provide a holistic education that strengthens learning, social, and emotional development.

The Summer Educational Program offers five weeks of comprehensive learning for children ages 3 through 5th grade, between June and July, combining classroom projects and play-based learning to strengthen academic skills, creativity, and active participation. The program helps prevent learning loss during the summer.

Locations: Cobb County (Marietta), Clayton County (College Park), Dekalb County (Doraville), Gwinnett County (Lilburn), Fulton County (Hapeville, Roswell, and Sandy Springs)

Registration for the Summer Program will be open starting in February 2027.

For children ages 3 through 5th grade. Two Saturdays a month, from August to April.

A space where learning becomes a fun, creative, and inspiring experience. Our program sparks curiosity and fosters a love of learning through STEAM activities, integrating science, math, art, and other methods to guide student inquiry.

With an approach based on the Georgia Standards for Early Learning and Development (GELDS) and the Georgia Standard of Excellence (GSE), we support the holistic development of each child while they enjoy art, music, and yoga as essential parts of their emotional and academic growth.

For children ages 4 to 5 – Twice a week, August through April.

A bilingual program that builds strong readers from the very beginning. Too many Latino children start school without access to the books, language support, and early reading experiences that set the foundation for lifelong learning. We close that gap directly, through teacher-led sessions that bring parents and children together around reading, so literacy and numeracy grow at home as well as in the classroom.

Locations: The Maritza Morelli Community Education Center (Sandy Springs), Hapeville Elementary School (Hapeville), Church of the Incarnation (Doraville), and Fountain Elementary School (Forest Park).

For elementary school students and their parents—Twice a week, September–May

In partnership with Fulton County Schools, Aprendemos Juntos (Learning Together) is a Spanish-language program built on one idea: parents are their child’s first teacher. Led by a certified educator, families gain hands-on strategies and the tools to support their child’s academic journey, strengthening the bridge between what happens in the classroom and what happens at home.
